  6. Q:      Will the game run on 8Meg of memory?
  7.  
  8. A:      Not guaranteed. The requirements are 16 Meg.

  11. Q:    When I start the game, a banner appears: 
  12.         "A required .DLL file, XXXXX.DLL, was not found"
  13.         and the game won't run.
  14.  
  15. A:      Most likely, this DLL is a part of DirectX, a Windows component
  16.         that is required to run the game. It comes with Hard Truck,
  17.         not not with the demo, to save space and download time.

  21. Q:      I do not hear the music.
  22.  
  23. A:      You should not, because there's no music in the demo, only
  24.         in the actual game.

  26. Q:      I press <M> and the monitor does not appear.

  28. A:      The monitor does not appear in a small window and in the lowest
  29.         screen resolution. 
  30.  
  31. Q:      I have Windows NT 4.0 and I have installed Service Pack 3 as
  32.         was adviced. The game runs, however multiplayer does not work -
  33.         clients do not connect to the server.
  34.  
  35. A:      You should install Direct Play 5a. For that, log in as administrator,
  36.         and start dplay50s.exe. Then restart your computer.
  37.  
  38.         Though DirectPlay 5 is a part of DirectX 5, is does set up and fix
  39.         the problem. The rest of the DirectX components will remain version 3
  40.         as after Service Pack 3 was installed.

  42. Q:      What disk requirements are?
  43.  
  44. A:      65 megabytes for the demo, and, if you do not yet have
  45.         DirectX installed, it, too, will take some megabytes.
  46.         The help file is the same as in the game; it has a chapter 
  47.         on installation procedure, and there disk requirements listed, 
  48.         but they apply to the game, not to the demo of it.
